Job Summary
- Gathers data and produces daily, weekly and month end reports for management
- Performs reconciliation of bank accounts, intercompany accounts and balance sheet accounts
- Generates most of the month end journal entries. Interact with others to obtain information for month end
- Interacts with other departments such as Sales & Marketing, Operations and Corporate Finance and IT
- Assists with the accuracy of the physical inventory count once per year
- Assists in monitoring and enforcement of policies, procedures and controls designed to safeguard company assets
- Act as a lead amongst the Finance team, providing guidance and advice to team members as required
- Flashing Financial results by noon on the 4th business day of Flash Week
- Completion of government statistical reports
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365 or AX2012 would be an asset
Required Skills
- College diploma or a University Degree in Finance, Commerce or Business (preferred)
- 3+ years of working experience in a JIT manufacturing operation
- Above average PC skills (Excel and Microsoft Outlook) Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's are key
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Strong time management skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with various departments
- Strong leadership abilities
- Reliable and able to work the extra hours if need be
- Quick learner – there is lots of knowledge to absorb
- Comfortable explaining processes to others and doesn’t shy away from advising others of their mistakes.
- Can teach others new ways of doing things or show them how to correct their errors
- Methodical in nature

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
