- Call Taker/Dispatcher 35 to 40 hours a week and on call
- Responsibilities:
- THIS WILL BE SHIFT WORK DAYS AFTERNOONS WEEKENDS
- Answering phones, emails & various digital dispatching integrations
- Working directly with customers to book a variety of services
- Working directly with drivers in all locations, giving call information and problem solving
- Operate walk-up window to process payments and impound lot incoming and outgoing.
- Maintaining professional customer service with team members, partners & customers
- Audit prices on calls and take payments for drivers
- Actively assess calls and urgency and update information accordingly
- Dispatch calls to drivers
Requirements:
- Vehicle knowledge an asset.
- Must have exceptional computer & typing skills
- Able to work effectively under sudden stressful situations
- Have excellent communication skills dealing with customers, drivers, co-workers, team members and management.
- Able to work without supervision.
- Able to work cooperatively within a team environment
- Strong Multitasker and Positive Attitude
- Strong Organizing Skills
- Experience in towing industry is a strong asset
- Able to deal with the RCMP and Roadside assistance companies
- Dispatch calls to drivers
