Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook and Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food plating and garnishing for presentation
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Support kitchen staff during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of service and food quality
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation standards is a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment demonstrates ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Passion for the food industry with a desire to grow culinary skills and knowledge
Pay: $17.95-$25.00 per hour
