Duties
- Develop comprehensive architectural designs using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and project managers to refine project scope, specifications, and design intent.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, drawings, and presentations that clearly communicate design ideas and technical details.
- Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and address any on-site challenges promptly.
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively by coordinating resources and negotiating with vendors or contractors as needed.
- Utilize construction estimating tools and budgeting techniques to develop accurate cost projections for renovation or new build projects.
- Lead business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and fostering strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience in architectural design with proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD), Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes including renovation projects and construction estimating.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor selection and contract discussions.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for document review and markup; NavisWorks for clash detection; Sketch for conceptual sketches; Budgeting tools; and Construction documentation standards.
- Hands-on experience with construction site supervision and understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to draft detailed plans and technical drawings that meet client needs while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to articulate ideas clearly across teams and clients alike.

Pay: $58,968.56-$136,586.64 per year
