Carpenter’s Hand
SAM Design/Dwell by SAM is seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpenter’s Hand for a temporary 2 month contract to assist with a variety of residential and commercial projects in the St. John’s area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead carpenter with construction, renovation, and installation work
- Load, unload, and transport materials and tools
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Support finishing work, millwork installations, and general carpentry tasks
- Follow safety procedures and site protocols
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades is an asset
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to lift and carry building materials and work in a physically demanding environment
- Must be able to provide a satisfactory Certificate of Conduct
