Overview:
SPAR Canada, a global leader in merchandising, is hiring a Dedicated Account Manager to join our head office team in our Vaughan office (hybrid work schedule-working 3 days in office). With experience in client management, you will manage a retail-based merchandising program for our client, one of the world’s leading global technology companies. You will be accountable for program execution at retail and client care/management.
To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized, deadline driven, adept in excel, proficient in reporting, and possess a solid understanding of the retail environment. Your background should include project management, customer service, team management and strong administrative and communication skills. You will support our client through job setup, the execution of key deliverables, tracking client metrics, data collection, and analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Client relationship building through face to face, verbal and written communication.
-
Ensure that the client’s retail standards and objectives are achieved.

Set and monitor KPI’s, develop retail strategies based on representative feedback.

Develop program instructions and training materials for in-field representatives using a consultative approach with clients and proven best practices.

Work closely with the retail merchandising team to ensure they have a complete understanding of program objectives.

Follow field level execution and look for opportunities for improvement and support issue resolution.

Troubleshoot any potential job execution errors and resolve immediately.

Provide clients with status updates mid-project and call out any opportunities that may require resolution.

Develop post-program executive summaries and ensure all client deliverables are met in a timely fashion.

Delivery of business review presentations in person (speaking in front of clients and leading the development and delivery of presentations).

Evaluate and provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations to enhance business performance, elevate in-store performance and drive continuous improvement.

Manage the planning & distribution of shipments where required.

Utilize internal system tools and enhancements and become a system expert.

Ensure all client invoices are accurate and submitted to finance/client in a timely manner.

Assist with budgeting and reforecasting.
- Involvement in periodic project reporting & recommendations for enhancements.

Work collaboratively with other members of the Client Service team.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

College degree/diploma required.

Minimum three (3) years retail/merchandising or vendor related experience.

Strong project administration expertise with exceptional analytical and excel skills.

Attention to detail and able to take initiative.

Client facing experience.
-
Strong computer experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Detailed, organized and time management expertise.

Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

Team player, self-motivated and proactive.

Ability to work in fast paced & demanding environment.

Merchandising/business/retail background.
-
Ability to travel to retail locations and meet with field representatives.

Bilingual (French) an asset.
