Summary
We are seeking a Child Care Center Cook to join our team at Montessori Early Years Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of our children. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for children in accordance with dietary guidelines.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen.
- Plan menus that accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences of children.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming dining experience for children.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook in a food service or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet nutritional guidelines for young children.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
