About Us
Best Brains Learning Center is an after-school enrichment program designed to enhance the academic skills of students in Math, English, Abacus, Coding, and more. Our goal is to help every child be their best through engaging instruction and a supportive learning environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Coding Teacher to join our team! You’ll introduce students (grades 1-8) to the world of coding through Scratch, Python, and Web Development. Lesson plans and materials are provided - no grading or prep work required!

What You'll Do
- Teach Scratch, Python, and/or Web Development in small group sessions.
- Use the Best Brains Coding curriculum to lead students through fun lessons.
- Support students as they learn to solve problems and express creativity.
- Create a positive, encouraging classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow.
- Collaborate with center staff to ensure an engaging experience.
- Support students in developing confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning.
- Participate in training and team meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Scratch, Python, and/or HTML/CSS required.
- Background or degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring students preferred.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for education and helping children build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
