We are currently seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Fulfillment Supervisor to support the daily operations of our warehouse and fulfillment center. This role is responsible for overseeing inbound receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, value-added services, outbound shipping, and daily warehouse operations while ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, put-away, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, value-added services, and shipping.
- Manage e-commerce, marketplace fulfillment, and dropshipping operations to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including container unloading, pallet handling, carrier coordination, and transportation scheduling.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, inventory audits, reconciliation, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) transactions.
- Monitor operational KPIs, including order accuracy, inventory accuracy, fulfillment speed, on-time shipping, productivity, and labor utilization.
- Lead, train, coach, and support a team of warehouse associates and temporary staff to achieve operational, productivity, and service goals.
- Prepare daily work schedules and allocate labor resources based on operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety policies, standard operating procedures, and company regulations.
- Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse material handling equipment.
- Coordinate value-added services, including labeling, relabeling, repackaging, kitting, inspection, and customer-specific fulfillment requirements.
- Support new customer onboarding, warehouse implementation projects, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Work closely with customer service, transportation, sales, and operations teams to resolve fulfillment, shipping, and inventory-related issues.
- Prepare operational reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics operations, with previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL warehousing, distribution center operations, parcel delivery, or cross-border logistics is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory management systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid forklift certification is considered an asset, or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse material handling equipment.
- English communication skills are required, and Mandarin is considered an asset due to customer and operational needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs (14 kg) when required.
