Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software. Experience with medical or dental offices, bookkeeping, and customer service is a plus. The Office Administrator will handle a variety of clerical tasks, manage front desk responsibilities, and support overall office efficiency to provide exceptional support to staff and clients alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records
- Utilize software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant tools for administrative tasks
- Coordinate appointments, schedule meetings, and maintain calendars for staff members
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Handle billing, bookkeeping, and basic financial recordkeeping as needed
- Support medical or dental office functions including patient check-in/out processes and insurance documentation (if applicable)
- Maintain organized files both digitally and physically to ensure easy retrieval of information
- Assist with administrative projects to improve office workflow and efficiency
Experience
- Prior office experience is required MINIMUM 3 YEARS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred
- Strong computer skills including data entry, typing, proofreading, and document management
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Clerical experience involving filing systems, front desk management, and multi-line phone systems is essential
- Experience in medical or dental office settings will be considered an asset
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
