Pay
- $25/hour to start. $26/hour once fully trained, and that raise is in writing. About $52,000/year base.
- Profit share: 5% of the builder division's net profit, paid annually. Same structure our division leads are on. Straight formula, not a discretionary bonus.
Hours
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Your afternoons are yours.
- Every long weekend off.
- Vacation preferred in our slow season (December to March), for wo weeks.
The job
Our goal is simple: quote every exterior aluminum railing project in the city. That's a market of 100+ builders, with about 10 driving most of the volume, across Part 9 low-rise and larger Part 3 buildings. You run the machine that makes it possible: quotes, drawings, scheduling, invoicing.
A normal week:
- 1 to 3 new estimates with drawings, turned around in 1 to 5 days depending on size
- 5 to 10 installs scheduled across our three installers, booked about a week out
- Material tracked against key projects 3 to 6 months ahead, so it's on the ground before the crews need it
The structure works. We deliver on time, at high quality, week after week. Your job is to keep it running, not to reinvent it.
You own the process. The owner approves all pricing, so you're never guessing on a number.
What you'll do every day
- Measure railing from builder blueprints in PlanSwift and build quotes at our set margin.
- Prepare simple post layout drawings from the blueprints. A few minutes each, and our engineer reviews our low rise projects.
- Keep CRM clean: opportunities, pipeline stages, activity logged.
- Book installs in Field Service around crew availability.
- Create and send invoices in QuickBooks. Follow up on payment to 45 days.
- Check in with our key builders quarterly. No cold calling, no daily outbound.
Who does well here
- 2+ years in admin, coordination, estimating support, or inside sales. Trades or construction background is a plus, not a requirement.
- You find routine satisfying, not boring. An empty inbox is a good day.
- Direct communicator. Reliable. Follows through without reminders.
- No university required. Comfortable on a computer. We train Salesforce, QuickBooks Online, PlanSwift, ClickUp, Claude, Google Workspace
