Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide mental health support and therapy to diverse patient populations, including children and adolescents. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, with a focus on promoting emotional well-being and recovery. Experience in hospital environments and pediatrics is highly valued, along with a strong understanding of medical terminology and case management.
Duties
- Conduct individual, group, or family psychotherapy sessions tailored to patient needs
- Assess patient mental health status through interviews, observations, and data collection
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices
- Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate patient care, especially in hospital settings
- Manage case documentation accurately while maintaining confidentiality
- Engage in research activities to stay current with mental health treatment advancements
- Work with children and adolescents, utilizing specialized approaches for pediatric patients
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Support patients with special educational needs or developmental challenges through tailored interventions
Experience
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents in mental health or healthcare settings
- Hospital experience is preferred, especially within pediatric or inpatient units
- Background in research related to mental health or pediatrics is advantageous
- Familiarity with patient care procedures, case management, and data collection methods
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare environments
- Experience working within special education programs or supporting patients with developmental needs is a plus
Pay: $51.85-$133.25 per hour
