About Afterhours Cafe
We started Afterhours Cafe for people who like to slow down, connect and enjoy the moment. We aim to create a space that feels welcoming at any hour of the day. We’re also open late for those who need a third-space after work, school or really anything! We're looking for team members who share our passion for good vibes, quality, and making people feel at home.
Duties
- Greet and serve customers in a warm, welcoming manner
- Operate POS system to take orders and process transactions accordingly
- Prepare espresso-based drinks and other beverages
- Prepare and plate food items per menu specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the cafe
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations
- Restock supplies, conduct opening and closing duties as required
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience (Required)
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience (Required)
- Flexible availability Sunday through Saturday
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
Assets (not required)
- Food Safe Level 1 certification
- Serving It Right certification
Compensation
Starting at $18.25/hour + tips
