Job Summary
The Junior Data Entry Clerk provides general office support and clerical assistance to one or more business units. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, managing documentation, and supporting day-to-day business operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to business teams.
- Create, maintain, and update information in databases and internal systems.
- Track, verify, and process transactions accurately and within established deadlines.
- Manage filing systems to ensure business documents, reports, and forms are organized and easily accessible.
- Support change management initiatives through execution and sustainment activities.
- Resolve routine issues according to established procedures and escalate non-routine issues when required.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Maintain audit trails and accurate documentation.
- Take immediate action to report or address policy or regulatory infractions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of business processes, products, services, and operational controls.
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and track multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good understanding of business risk and regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of office equipment, including computers, printers, and photocopiers.
- Strong understanding of standard office procedures and workflows.
- Experience handling transactional documentation with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry or service file processing/administrative support.
- Customer service experience is not a primary requirement.
- Bilingual (English/French) is preferred but not required.
- Mutual Funds certification is not required.
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
