We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our small but mighty team at our stand-alone facility located at 75 Henlow Bay, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable individual with a minimum of one year of experience working as a veterinary assistant in a veterinary clinic. Students and graduates of the Robertson College Veterinary Assistant Program are also encouraged to apply.

Schedule
Starting August 2026
- Monday to Thursday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 32 hours per week, 1-hour unpaid lunch break
- Occasional opportunity to stay later if needed
- No weekends or overnight shifts
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Safely restraining patients for veterinarians and technicians
- Obtaining patient histories and communicating with clients
- Assisting with surgical setup and cleanup
- Cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical instruments and packs
- Filling prescriptions
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Performing general reception duties
- Maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment, including: Laundry, kennels, floors, garbage disposal, general housekeeping tasks
