We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-precision components in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with CNC programming, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and CNC milling machines using Fanuc, Haas, or similar controls.
Write, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs to optimize machining efficiency and quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and technical drawings to manufacture precision parts.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specifications.
Select and install appropriate tooling for production runs.
Perform routine machine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
Assist with additional production activities such as marking, packaging, and general manufacturing support as required.
Proven experience operating and setting up CNC lathes and CNC milling machines.
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes.
Proficiency in CNC programming and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documentation.
Strong mathematical skills related to machining tolerances and measurements.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Familiarity with CAD software is considered an asset.
Additional experience with forklift operation, shipping, or warehouse processes is an asset.
