Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part-time Bartender . The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in beverage service. Prefer semi-retired bartender for service club setting .
This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals looking to work in a dynamic, social setting while providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Engage with customers to create a positive experience and handle their orders efficiently
- Use POS systems and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations, accurate cash-outs
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Basic cleaning of bar area
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and responsible serving policies
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent hospitality and customer service
Skills
- Previous bar industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse patrons, mostly seniors
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
