Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Class 1 Driver for Super B in seaboard transport. For fuel and dry ash haul. Very good pay
trucks to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty freight vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety standards. This role requires a professional with experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and a strong commitment to safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 Super B trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Assist with warehouse duties including freight handling and inventory management when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience operating Super B trucks or similar heavy freight vehicles
- Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and excellent time management skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as needed
- Prior experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, or related fields is desirable
