Job Overview
Nasco Staffing Solutions is hiring reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to support live events, production logistics, and venue operations across the GTA. This role involves operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and organize staging, production equipment, flooring, and event materials in fast-paced environments.
Ideal candidates are experienced forklift operators who work well under pressure, follow safety procedures, and can collaborate effectively with event crews and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and position materials and equipment
- Move staging, trussing, flooring, cases, production gear, and event materials on-site
- Assist with event setup and teardown as required
- Perform equipment inspections before and after use
- Follow site plans, load schedules, and supervisor instructions
- Maintain safe operation in active work environments with pedestrians and crews nearby
- Support warehouse organization and material handling
- Work collaboratively with stagehands, production teams, and site supervisors
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification required
- Previous experience operating forklifts in events, warehouses, construction, or logistics environments preferred
- Experience with counterbalance and/or reach forklifts considered an asset
- Strong understanding of forklift safety and load handling
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Good communication and ability to follow instructions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs when required
- Ability to stand and work for extended shifts (4–6+ hours)
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to perform physical labour including bending, lifting, and moving equipment
Requirements
- Must be available for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts (including after 11 PM)
- Ability to travel to various job sites across the GTA
- Must have required PPE:
- Steel toe boots
- High-visibility vest
- Hard hat
- Work gloves
- Reliable transportation considered an asset

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
