Tetra-Chem Industries Ltd. is a privately held custom chemical manufacturing company. We’re looking for a professional and detail-oriented DZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in doing the job right — ensuring every delivery is completed accurately, safely, and on time. This role requires more than just driving skill; it demands a keen eye for detail, strong communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence.
This is a dual role with 80% of time dedicated to daily chemical deliveries and 20% of time dedicated to chemical waste removals. The successful candidate will remove and handle non-hazardous chemical waste, and hazardous chemical waste from a generator site to a receive site. The position works with a team of waste technicians, coordinates daily with a logistics lead and reports directly to the Plant Manager. This hands-on position requires the candidate to be mechanically inclined as you will be using pumps and vacuums to suck out chemical waste at customer locations. Attention to detail is paramount in this position as you will be calculating waste volumes, monitored by The Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks
This position is one member of a cross-functional team and must be able to partner with employees from other areas of the business including but not limited to Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, Sales and Marketing, Health and Safety, and Human Resources, to achieve the business plan.
