Duties
- Assist with the assembly of trusses using hand tools, power tools, and machinery under supervision
- Support the measurement, cutting, and machining of wood components according to specifications
- Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety protocols during daily tasks
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance
- Collaborate with team members on the loading, unloading, and storage of materials in the warehouse or manufacturing yard
- Gain exposure to basic construction practices involved in truss building
Requirements
- Enthusiastic about learning new skills in manufacturing and construction environments
- Mechanical knowledge or interest is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery with proper instruction; prior experience with hand tools is beneficial but not required
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and quality standards
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials safely, and perform manual tasks effectively
