Certified Forklift Operator – Counterbalance & Reach

Pivotal Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our client’s warehouse and manufacturing operation in Cambridge, Ontario.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach forklifts and will be responsible for safely moving materials, loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and supporting daily warehouse operations.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trailers and delivery vehicles
- Transport materials and products throughout the warehouse
- Stack, organize, and store inventory in designated locations
- Safely handle products and materials to minimize damage
- Perform pre-shift forklift inspections
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Assist with inventory checks and product verification
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Follow company policies, safety regulations, and workplace procedures
- Work with warehouse and production teams to meet daily operational requirements
- Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties when required
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance and Reach forklift certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operating experience
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Strong focus on workplace safety and equipment operation
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable performing physical material-handling duties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Flexible availability for day, afternoon, and night shifts
