Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting various construction projects by performing essential tasks that contribute to the overall success of the job site. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed for various construction tasks.
- Complete Dump runs
- Racking and shoveling material
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition by cleaning and performing minor repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced workers.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned tasks on time.
- A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions or job sites.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
