Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team on the weekends. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
- Perform therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue, relaxation, and other modalities
- Conduct client consultations to assess their health history, preferences, and specific concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records for each client (SOAP)
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate wellness practices
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support client health goals
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with provincial or local regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and health conditions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
- Strong communication skills for effective consultation and client education
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a caring demeanor at all times
