Peterson is looking for a Senior Property Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and overall performance of a commercial real estate portfolio, ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulatory requirements, and positioned to maximize asset value and tenant satisfaction.
Working closely with tenants, owners, and internal teams, the Senior Property Manager delivers exceptional customer service, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and ensures timely resolution of tenant concerns. The role is also accountable for financial performance, including budgeting, financial reporting, rent collection, cost control, variance analysis, and overseeing service contracts. In addition, the Senior Property Manager provides leadership and mentorship to the property management team, driving operational excellence, continuous process improvement, and effective people management.
The ideal candidate possesses a valid Rental Property Management Licence issued by the Real Estate Council of British Columbia, and thorough knowledge of the Real Estate Act. A strong understanding of commercial property management principles, financial management, regulatory compliance, and lease administration is essential.
The successful candidate brings 5–7 years of progressive commercial property management experience, with a proven ability to manage diverse property portfolios, oversee budgets, analyze financial performance, and lead projects to successful completion. Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to interpret lease agreements, supervise team members, manage competing priorities, and resolve complex issues with professionalism, sound judgment, and a customer-focused approach.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $136,000 annually, based on experience.
