Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all legal and safety regulations
- Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding medication selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects
- Educate patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage instructions
- Monitor patient responses to medication therapy and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all medication-related activities.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering, storage, and expiration tracking of pharmaceuticals
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Pharmacist in Ontario
- Prior experience working with Fillware Software
- Experience with pediatric medication management is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care and effective communication with healthcare teams
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and complex cases involving acute care needs
- Vaccination certified with CPR certification

Pay: $45.00-$53.00 per hour
