CRC Integrative Therapies is a therapy clinic that offers integrated and multidisciplinary care in speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioral therapy (ABA) services.
We are looking to hire dedicated and energetic skilled individuals to fill contract-based Communicative Disorders Assistant to join our team. Experience working with children is desired.
Major Responsibilities:
- To support the recommendations made by SLPs regarding speech and language programming, resources, and modifications for students with communication disorders and developmental challenges including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech, language, reading, and writing.
- To participate along with a supervising SLP in a multidisciplinary team and family meetings.
- To model language facilitation strategies and the use of visual materials (PECS), communication devices/systems (AAC) to members of the student's team upon request of a SLP.
- To collect student-specific data as requested by a SLP.
- To demonstrate accountability for CDA professional practice standards and in accordance with established Board policies and procedures.
- To perform other duties as assigned by the Speech-Language Pathologist
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Communicative Disorders Assistant graduate certificate is required.
- Must be eligible member of CDAAC.
- Proficient verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Fluency in another language is considered an asset.
