About the Role
This is not a traditional Executive Sous Chef position.
You won’t be working in just one restaurant, and you won’t be sitting behind a desk.
We’re looking for an experienced chef who loves operations, enjoys developing people, and isn’t afraid to jump on the line when a restaurant needs support.
You will oversee multiple kitchens, working directly with our Chef de Cuisines and Sous Chefs to ensure consistency, food quality, labour efficiency, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence.
When one restaurant needs help, you’re the person who steps in.
You will directly report to the Culinary Director.

- Lead by example and work on the line during busy services, staffing shortages, vacations, or emergencies.
- Coach and mentor Chef de Cuisines and Sous Chefs.

- Conduct regular kitchen audits and quality checks.
- Manage and review inventory counts, ordering, and food cost performance.
- Assist with labour planning and staffing solutions.
- Lead the hiring, onboarding, and training of kitchen employees.
- Ensure all kitchens maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
- Support menu rollouts and new restaurant openings.
- Work closely with the Culinary Director and General Managers to continuously improve operations.

- Excellent understanding of inventory management, food costing, labour management, and kitchen operations.
- Calm under pressure with the ability to lead busy services.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation, clean record.
- Flexibility to travel between restaurant locations.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Performance bonus opportunities.
- Group benefits.
- Paid vacation.
- Staff dining privileges.
- Career advancement opportunities within a growing hospitality group.
Who You Are
You’re a builder, a mentor, and a problem solver.
You enjoy coaching chefs, improving kitchen operations, and making teams stronger. You’re just as comfortable reviewing inventory as you are jumping on sauté on a busy Friday night.
If you’re looking for a leadership role where you can make a real impact across multiple restaurants while staying connected to the kitchen, we’d love to meet you.
