Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Maintenance Person on a temporary basis up to a year at our Distribution Centre in Edmonton, AB.
What you’ll do:
- Perform non-certified maintenance on the facility, facility equipment, grounds, and basic maintenance on mobile equipment according to established maintenance programs.
- Operate and perform non-certified maintenance on batteries and battery chargers according to established maintenance programs.
- Replace rack components using mobile equipment.
- Perform carpentry construction or building repair work as required.
- Perform non-certified welding duties as required.
- Perform duties on skid steer and on aerial platforms.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security programs.
- Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including creation and completion of service requests and completing the scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.

The Team: You will be a part of our Distribution Centre team and will report into the Supervisor DC Maintenance Planning. This team strives to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and :
- Have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
- Certificate in building Systems Maintenance, Mechanical or Industrial Electronics is an asset.
- Have 3 years of related experience in building systems maintenance, mobile power equipment maintenance or industrial electronics maintenance.
- Must be willing to perform duties in low temperatures and heights on aerial platforms.
- Preference will be given to a candidate with the greatest merit and ability gained though certification, employment or personal experience.
