Duties
- Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Support arborists with rigging operations, including setting up ropes and pulleys for safe tree work
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access high branches safely and efficiently
- Help with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general site cleanup
- Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with mapping and site planning projects
- Support tree care projects by preparing equipment, handling tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Contribute to ongoing landscape projects by assisting with planting beds, irrigation setup, and soil preparation
Experience
- Prior experience or growing interest in tree care, horticulture, or landscaping is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with bucket operation and rigging techniques is a plus
- Basic knowledge of GIS technology or willingness to learn is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening activities is beneficial
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are essential
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices when working at heights or with heavy equipment
