Precious Sprouts Childcare Centre is looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team for July and August 2026.
This temporary summer position offers 15 hours per week, with regular hours of 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Additional full-day shifts may be available when covering for staff who are away due to vacation, appointments, or other absences.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
- Support children's learning through play-based experiences
- Maintain active supervision and ensure children's safety
- Assist with daily routines, programming, and outdoor activities
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Follow licensing regulations and center policies
Qualifications
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for working with children
