Island Construction & Environmental, a design/build contractor, is seeking carpenters and skilled labourers with experience in commercial construction for current and upcoming projects in Nova Scotia.
Experience with the following tasks is required:
-Wood Framing/Sheathing
-Concrete Forming
-Steel Stud Framing
-Installation of Steel Doors/Frames
-Drywall Installation
-T-Bar Ceiling Installation
-Plastering/Painting
Familiarity with reading blue prints as well experience in building maintenance would be considered an asset.
Some travel will be required as our work is located throughout Nova Scotia. Travel, lodgings and a meal allowance will be provided.
