We are seeking a dedicated labourer to join our team. The labourer position at Rocky Ridge Log Restoration Inc. is responsible for assisting in the restoration and maintenance of log structures. This includes tasks such as repairing & replacing damaged logs, sanding & media blasting, and staining & sealing homes. The labourer will work closely with the supervisor to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within schedule.Responsibilities:
- Operate Equipment (eg. stain sprayer & media blaster)
- Operate hand and power tools (eg. chainsaws & grinders)
- Assist in the application of stains and caulking
- Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris and setting up scaffolding
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions including weather conditions
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and power equipment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
- Good communication skills to follow instructions accurately
