Artie's on Locke is looking to expand its team!
Artie's is an independently run one-stop-shop for coffee, fresh pasta, bread, incredible sandwiches, and Italian grocery items. We are looking for passionate, professional, driven folks who care about coffee and food to join our team and be a part of our growth.
We're looking for experienced food service workers who are looking for a long-term role. We provide benefits to all full-time employees after a six month probationary period, and are eager to invest in our staff in order to build the best team possible.
We work in a fast-paced environment that often requires multitasking, and always requires effective communication between coworkers. Baristas at Artie's will be expected to be organized, efficient, and capable of completing various tasks in keeping the front of house in order, as well as occasionally assisting other departments. We highly value the ability to be self-driven, as we expect initiative in staying busy and assisting in the business running smoothly.
We are also looking for a candidate with strong sales capabilities. For this candidate, no prior coffee experience is needed, as we are willing to train on the job for the right person.
Our minimum starting wage is $18/hr plus tips, and is negotiable based on experience and skills.
Required:
- 1-2 years experience in the hospitality industry
- 1-2 years Barista experience
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Good customer service skills
- Clean and efficient
- Work well in team environment
- Solid communication skills
