JOB DESCRIPTION
General Purpose
Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about payments and collections.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
· Provide excellent customer service and answer any billing questions
· Review any billing discrepancies with customers
· Contact customers to discuss delinquent accounts by telephone and/or email
· Delinquent and collection attempts analysis and reporting
· Receive payments using various methods: ACH, credit card, debits or cheques
· Negotiate credit extensions when necessary by creating strategies for debt repayment
· Monitor weekly excel reports and maintain accurate records about the customer payment status
· Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically.
· Handle and resolve customer complaints
· Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
· Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
· Follow up on customer interactions
· Take payments and other pertinent information such as address and phone numbers
· Enter Data according to specified Format
Education and Experience
Excellent customer service skills in person and over the phone MUST be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks and Microsoft Word
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Strong organizational skills and time management skills
Ability to manage and follow up on multiple concurrent tasks, requests on tight deadlines
Must be able to work well as part of a team and independently.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
