Job Overview: Cocktail Curator, Vibe Setter, the Real MVP's
Our Celebration Bartenders are the face of the Sparrow Lane bar; bringing charm, professionalism, and precision to every pour. From champagne toasts to espresso martinis and custom cocktails, our bartenders help elevate the experience for every guest, every time.
You’ll work closely with our Venue Manager and event team to ensure smooth bar service, top-tier guest interaction, and an atmosphere that feels effortless, elegant, and a little bit electric.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Set up and tear down the bar before and after each event (including ice, garnishes, supplies, signage)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Keep glassware polished and stocked (supporting the back of house team as needed)
- Help with bussing and bar area upkeep to maintain a pristine look
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order processing and payment handling.
- Monitor inventory levels, and ensure proper storage of all food and beverage items.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
- Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and maintain responsible serving practices.
- Keep the vibes high, the service smooth, and the standards luxury
Requirements:
- Experienced: You’ve bartended before in fast-paced environments (event or hospitality experience preferred)
- Polished & Personable: You can connect with guests easily while maintaining professionalism
- Fast, Efficient, Organized: You thrive under pressure, multitask like a pro, and care about the details
- Team-Oriented: You’re collaborative, communicative, and always ready to jump in and help
- Flexible & Reliable: You’re available for weekend shifts, have reliable transportation, and always show up on time
- Physically Capable: You’re comfortable being on your feet for long hours and lifting bar supplies as needed (and heavy tables and chairs if needed)
- Credentials: Valid Pro Serve
