We are a growing e-commerce company in the adult health and wellness space looking for an exceptionally capable, resourceful person to work directly with the owner and become a key part of running the business.
This is not a traditional administrative assistant position. We're looking for someone who can take an idea, problem or objective and figure out how to get it done along with streamlining and implementing systems.
You'll help manage projects, people, systems, inventory, marketing initiatives and day-to-day business operations.
You don't need to know everything on day one. What matters most is that you're a fast learner, highly organized, comfortable making decisions, technically capable and exceptionally resourceful.
What You'll Be Doing The role will evolve as you learn the business, but you'll be involved in areas such as:
Managing the owner's calendar, priorities, meetings and follow-ups.
Taking ideas and turning them into organized projects and completed outcomes.
Coordinating our advertising, email marketing, development, creative and other outside teams.
Managing projects, deadlines and deliverables and holding people accountable Using ChatGPT and Claude extensively for research, analysis, content, problem-solving and business operations.
Learning how to integrate AI into our existing platforms and workflows to automate and improve how the company operates.
Helping manage Shopify, Amazon and other e-commerce systems.
Monitoring inventory, forecasting demand and helping coordinate purchasing.
Reviewing business performance, expenses, reports and operational data Coordinating suppliers, manufacturers, products and new product development.
Researching new tools, opportunities and solutions and making recommendations.
Creating systems and processes that make the company run more efficiently. You won't simply be given a checklist every morning.
As you learn the company, we want you to identify what needs to be done and take ownership of getting it done.
Who We're Looking For:
We're much more interested in ability and mindset than a perfect resume. You should be highly organized, technologically confident, comfortable with numbers, a strong communicator and someone who learns new things extremely quickly.
You should already be comfortable using ChatGPT and/or Claude and be excited about finding new ways to use AI throughout a business.
Experience with Shopify, Amazon, QuickBooks, Google Workspace, project management, inventory management or e-commerce is helpful, but not required.
Bonus:
Experience or natural ability with social media, content creation, social trends, photography/video, marketing or understanding what performs on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
Industry:
We operate in the adult health and sexual wellness industry. You must be comfortable professionally working with adult wellness products, terminology, imagery and marketing.
Location:
This position is based in our Langley, BC office. We want the successful candidate working closely with us in person for approximately the first six months while learning the business.
Once you're fully trained and operating independently, there may be an opportunity to transition to a hybrid/work-from-home arrangement.
