White Falcon Consulting Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision manufacturing company serving the aerospace, defence, and other highly regulated industries.
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee multiple customer programs from order acceptance through final delivery. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments while managing schedules, risks, milestones, and overall program execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple customer programs simultaneously from contract award through production, delivery, and program closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities between Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Inventory, Shipping, and Senior Management to ensure program success.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed program schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Identify schedule risks, material shortages, capacity constraints, and production bottlenecks, and proactively drive corrective actions.
- Lead internal production review meetings and customer program review meetings.
- Ensure customer requirements, drawings, specifications, quality standards, and delivery commitments are clearly communicated and executed internally.
- Monitor program performance, including delivery, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Prepare and present program status reports, forecasts, and recovery plans to senior management and customers.
- Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), customer revisions, and scope changes throughout the program lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve program execution, communication, and on-time delivery.
- Support strategic business growth by identifying opportunities to improve customer relationships and operational efficiency.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 years of Program or Project Management experience in aerospace, defence, nuclear, or other precision manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience managing multiple complex customer programs simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, procurement, scheduling, inventory control, and quality systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations while balancing internal manufacturing priorities.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
Preferred
- PMP designation.
- AS9100 manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Controlled Goods and/or defence contracts.
- Experience working with OEM aerospace customers.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FAI, and change management processes.
