This is a shared position between Millwoods Care Centre and Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Centre. Two days per week at each centre.

Reporting to the Site Manager and working within the full scope of your practice, you will perform the primary functions of complete and accurate physical assessment of the respiratory status of assigned clients by utilizing clinical competencies in all aspects of respiratory care. You will manage all assigned respiratory therapy functions, personnel, supplies and equipment in a safe manner. In addition, you will work in a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals in a unique community environment to deliver safe and effective care to our residents.

Education and other Qualifications
- You must be a graduate of an approved School of Respiratory Therapy. CARTA registration is required.
- CSRT registration is preferred.
- You will have 2-3 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Experience in service in a long-term care setting an asset.
- Must be experienced and knowledgeable regarding ventilator-dependent clients.

Requirements:
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
- A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
