Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns during visits
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient information
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant credential required
- Internationally trained assistant with HARP certification
- Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable
- Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Prior experience supporting dental procedures in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion in patient interactions
