Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Shuttle Driver to transport dealership customers between Scherer Chevrolet Buick GMC in Kitchener and local destinations while their vehicles are being serviced. This role requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Transport customers between Scherer Chevrolet Buick GMC and designated service locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with their needs during transit.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in service.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the shuttle vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized shuttle vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly to management.
Qualifications
- Valid G driver's license.
- Proven experience in driving shuttle services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass screening checks, as company policy requires.
