ROLE: Talent Acquisition Specialist
REPORTING TO: Director of Operations
DOT & Company is a first-of-its-kind, client account management agency. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring we bring through a steady stream of strong Client Account Managers (CAMs) and match them with the right agencies based on their unique skills. Your efforts will directly contribute to longevity of agency partnerships and success of CAM team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Matching Agencies with Client Account Managers:
- Leverage our AI tools and assessments to understand agency needs and match them with the appropriate Client Account Managers.
- Facilitate introductions and ensure a successful start to the working relationship.
- Monitor the progress of agency-CAM pairings and adjust if a need for transition arises.
Hiring Client Account Managers & Client Account Operators:
- Lead the recruitment process for new Client Account Managers and Client Account Operators.
- Identify talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Lead strategic headhunting initiatives to attract strong talent.
- Manage our organic recruitment presence/marketing initiatives to attract potential candidates.
- Conduct interviews and information sessions with new hires. Coordinate with the leadership team to finalize hires.
- Review/score assessments submitted throughout the recruitment process.
Handle recruitment for Placement CAMs:
- Hiring/headhunting for placement CAMs.
- Training and nurturing a bench of prequalified placement candidates.
- Handling negotiations/logistics of CAM buyout between agency and CAM.
- Support onboarding and set CAM up for long term placement success.
- Check in periodically to ensure placement is a suitable fit and integration is going smoothly.
Outcomes & KPIs:
- Hiring Targets: Achieve quarterly and annual hiring targets for Client Account Managers and Client Account Operators.
- Matching Success Rate: Maintain a high success rate in matching agencies with the right Client Account Managers.
- Working with the internal DOT & Co. Operations Team to ensure that all Client Account Managers & Client Account Operators receive proper training and support.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in recruitment, headhunting or a related field.
- Thrive in an agile environment where priorities and needs can shift quickly.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Extremely detail oriented and able to creatively solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to create thorough and efficient workflows.
- Familiarity with digital marketing or agency operations.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of hiring experience in Canada and the USA
- 1-2 years of management experience
- Digital Marketing experience is a plus!
