Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial and institutional spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in custodial or commercial cleaning. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to ensure cleanliness of designated areas
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored and in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special requests as needed to meet client expectations
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift light loads, and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
