We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including medical offices, home care, and senior care facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Perform laboratory tests and phlebotomy as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in case management to coordinate patient care.
- Offer specialized care for patients with dementia and pain management needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Skills
- Proficient in patient care techniques with a focus on quality outcomes.
- Experience in medical office settings, home care, or senior care environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pain management strategies and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to effectively manage cases and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate approach towards dementia care, ensuring dignity and respect for all patients.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
- CPR Trained
Must have
Certified as Registered Nurse by BCCNM
Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
TB Result Test, Immunization and Police Clearance required
