Overview
We are looking for an experienced overhead door technician to be a lead technician and work with an apprentice to complete installations. We provide a truck and power tools. The candidate will be responsible for their own hand tools. Health benefits are available. Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. The company truck is available to be taken home. Customer service is of the utmost importance. Troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities are extremely important.
Duties
- Maintain a proper stock of parts in the work truck
- Maintain a clean work truck
- Install new operators on residential and commercial overhead doors
- Install new commercial and residential overhead doors
- Maintain good relations with customers to ensure a positive customer experience
- Manage your time on site extremely well
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a lead technician or similar role
- Proficiency in all aspects of overhead doors, operators and other accessories
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Certification or training in relevant technical and safety areas is a plus
