Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety are met. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in supporting our commitment to exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Follow safety protocols and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated timeframes
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety guidelines
