Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Local Landscape Maintenance person (must live within a 30 minute drive) to join our team. As a Landscape Maintenance person, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to property maintenance. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Duties:
- Mowing and trimming lawns
-Raking, weeding, cultivating and edging gardens
-Pruning and shearing of shrubs
-Top dress garden beds
-Operating power landscaping equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Experience:
-Experience in towing a trailer is an asset
-Valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance is an asset
- Mechanical knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in landscaping
- Familiarity with garden care techniques including planting, pruning, and fertilizing
- Ability to operate equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
