The Unified Parts Group, NAPA/Traction’s largest Western Canadian Distributor (an independent Parts Group), is seeking a Returns & Defects Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Prince Albert. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and finalize returned new products, automotive cores, and defective parts
- Ensure proper tagging, packaging, and storage of cores awaiting return shipment
- Maintain accurate records of core credits and customer refunds
- Inspect defective parts and complete warranty claims paperwork
- Coordinate with suppliers and distribution centers for defective part returns
- Handle customer inquiries regarding returns, cores, and defective products professionally
- Accurately enter return/core/defect transactions into the POS system
- Keep the returns area organized and clean
- Assist with inventory counts and reconcile return-related discrepancies
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, returns, or inventory control experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Basic computer knowledge; experience with POS systems is an asset
- Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs and working on your feet
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
