Job Summary
SmashHour is a growing multi-location badminton coaching academy serving youth and adult players across the GTA West and Hamilton region.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Badminton Coach to lead group sessions and/or private lessons across our locations.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, structured coaching sessions for beginner to advanced players
- Follow SmashHour’s program curriculum and adapt to individual student needs
- Maintain a positive, safe, and encouraging court environment
- Communicate progress updates to students and parents as needed
- Arrive on time, prepared, and in proper coaching attire
Requirements
- Solid playing background in badminton (competitive experience an asset)
- Experience coaching or teaching youth and/or adults
- Strong communication and people skills
- Reliable transportation to travel between locations
- Valid police background check (or willingness to obtain one)
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$49.88 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
