Creek Side Veterinary Hospital in NW Calgary is currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant which can be converted to Fulltime . Key Responsibilities:
- Adhering to strict hygienic protocols in the veterinary setting.
- Providing exceptional customer service with strong communication skills.
- Assisting clients with their needs in a resourceful and professional manner.
- Performing kennel care and ensuring the well-being of animals.
- Managing phone calls and appointment bookings.
- Demonstrating excellent multitasking abilities while maintaining high standards of care.
- Handling animals safely and efficiently in a variety of situations.
Qualifications:
- Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Availability is required between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM on weekends.
- A quick learner with a passion for animal care.
- Previous experience in animal care or a veterinary clinic is an asset but not required—training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
